With Valentine's Day approaching, Marmalade Game Studio and Hasbro have unveiled a delightful update for Monopoly on Android and iOS. Dive into the festivities with a range of limited-time content designed to celebrate love through your favorite digital board game.
Monopoly's Valentine's Day event introduces an engaging quiz that matches you with one of four special tokens, each symbolizing a unique form of love. After being matched, enjoy a 24-hour trial with your chosen token. Should you wish to keep it, you can purchase it at a discounted rate following the trial period.
The update also brings a fresh twist to the gameplay with revamped House Rules for a quicker pace. The Quick Hotels rule allows you to build three houses instead of four before upgrading to a hotel, while Quick End concludes the game after the first bankruptcy. Additionally, Quick Jail lets you leave jail on your first turn, and Starting Title Deeds grants each player three random properties at the game's start. These rules, combined with skipping tax, Chance, and Community Chest spaces, ensure a more fast-paced and exciting experience.
To add to the romantic vibe, a new set of Cupid-inspired tokens is now available, and the Sweethearts bundle introduces two cherubic figures perfect for the occasion.
