Facing the Congalala requires constant movement due to its large size and agility. Avoid positioning yourself directly in front or behind the beast to minimize the impact of its potent breath attacks. The Congalala can execute powerful smashes with its hands, whip its tail, and use its breath attacks at range.

To maximize damage, focus on its breakable parts. Targeting the forelegs is advisable as they often leave the Congalala vulnerable for brief moments. For the head, tail, and rear, wait for the beast to consume a mushroom, then strike when it releases gas from either its front or rear. If you avoid the gas, you can attack these sensitive areas without fear of immediate retaliation.

If you're hit by the fumes, use deodorant or roll through water to cleanse the effects. Utilize the wounds you inflict by employing Focus Mode and Focus Strikes to deliver significant damage and halt the Congalala's attacks, especially during breath or ground-smashing attempts.

Follow the beast to its resting spot, where it attempts to recover. Prepare a Shock or Pitfall Trap near its resting place, switch to Tranq Bombs, and wake the monster.
