NetEase Games has unveiled the patch notes for Marvel Rivals version 20250327, set to enhance the game just ahead of Season 2's launch in mid-April. The developer, known for crafting Marvel's beloved hero shooter, has shared a comprehensive overview of the upcoming update on their official website. Players can expect to dive into a host of hero fixes and map tweaks this Thursday, March 27, without any server downtime. The update will roll out at 9am (UTC+0), allowing you to immediately explore the revamped abilities of heroes such as Wolverine and Iron Fist.
A standout feature in this latest Marvel Rivals Season 1 update is the inclusion of a special April Fool's Easter egg within the Galacta's Cosmic Quest board game event. This surprise reward is exclusively for those who have already completed the event and promises a "hidden twist surprise." NetEase has kept the details under wraps, leaving players eager to uncover the mystery later this week.
Another improvement coming with this update is the reduction of clipping issues across maps. Although it's not specified which maps will see the most benefit, NetEase has confirmed that a glitch on the Hydra Charteris Base map, which could result in teammates being revived outside the play area, has been fixed.
As Marvel Rivals nears the end of Season 1 and gears up for Season 2, this week's update brings significant fixes to hero-related glitches. A variety of heroes, including Wolverine, Iron Fist, Iron Man, Loki, Doctor Strange, Magneto, and Human Torch, will receive specific ability tweaks. Wolverine, in particular, sees substantial improvements to his Feral Leap and Ultimate, ensuring these abilities function more consistently.
Looking ahead, Marvel Rivals Season 2 is slated to launch on April 11, 2025. Speculation among the player base has been rife about potential new heroes, with many fans anticipating a focus on Marvel's renowned Hellfire Gala. If these speculations hold true, characters like Blade and Emma Frost might join the fray, fulfilling NetEase's commitment to introducing at least one new hero every half-season.

All Platforms
General
1. Resolved an issue in Custom Game where a disconnected player's character would still appear on the Like page during match settlement.
Maps and Modes
1. Fixed several terrain issues that could cause characters to sometimes become stuck or clip into strange areas.
2. Squashed a glitch in the Hydra Charteris Base map where Rocket Raccoon's B.R.B. could sometimes revive teammates outside the play area due to terrain changes.
Heroes
1. Wolverine's Terrifying Pounce: Resolved an issue where the Hulk could sometimes have abnormal behavior after being catapulted into a terrain KO by Wolverine's Feral Leap. Now, the big guy gets the proper beatdown without any off-script environmental stunts!
2. Iron Fist's Wall-Climbing Whimsy: Fixed a glitch in Practice Range where Iron Fist wall-climbing was beyond expectations. The master of martial arts can now keep his acrobatic feats on track!
3. Iron Man's Teleportation Tangle: In Sanctum Sanctorum, Iron Man use of Hyper-Velocity followed immediately by portal entry could occasionally throw a wrench in the works—resulting in the ability to misfire and some off-color special effects. Now, Iron Man's high-tech strategy is as sleek as ever, letting him jet in and out as he pleases.
4. Loki-Doctor Strange's Forbidden Tech: Fixed an issue in Doom Match where Loki's transformation into Doctor Strange allowed the use of the forbidden Pentagram of Farallah. This minds-warping mix-up has been vanquished.
5. Magneto's Magnetic Moments: Resolved an issue in the post-match where Magneto's MVP could sometimes display some bizarre, offbeat visuals. The master of magnetism now commands his moments with true polar precision.
6. Wolverine's Ultimate with Pinpoint Precision: Fixed a snag in Wolverine's Ultimate Ability where, under high network latency, foes sent flying and slammed into the ground could sometimes end up in the wrong location. Now, every Last Stand lands exactly where it should.
7. Human Torch's Fiery Focus: Addressed a rare bug where the Human Torch's Primary Attack would sometimes miss its target entirely, leaving his incendiary prowess a little less scorching. With this fix, every burst of flame burns as brilliantly as intended—ensuring his heat is always on target!
Console
1. Eliminated a bug that sometimes caused the focus to unpredictably shift to earlier messages when opening the chat window.
