Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and More in Season 1
Get ready for a major update to Marvel Rivals! On January 10th at 1 AM PST, Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls arrives, bringing with it the Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman, new maps, a fresh game mode, and a new battle pass.
A recent gameplay trailer showcases Invisible Woman's unique abilities. She's classified as a Strategist, utilizing a primary attack that damages foes while simultaneously healing allies. A knockback ability keeps enemies at bay, complemented by her invisibility and a double jump for enhanced mobility. She can also deploy a protective shield for teammates and unleash an ultimate ability creating an area of invisibility, disrupting ranged attacks.
Mister Fantastic also gets some spotlight, his gameplay demonstrating a blend of Duelist and Vanguard styles, boasting higher health than typical DPS characters. He utilizes stretching attacks and a self-buff to increase durability.
While the Fantastic Four's arrival is highly anticipated, the absence of Blade, whose in-game data has been datamined, is a point of discussion among fans. Many had expected his inclusion, especially given Dracula's role as the main antagonist of Season 1. However, Human Torch and The Thing will join the roster in a mid-season update approximately six to seven weeks after launch, with full seasons planned for roughly three months.
Despite some initial speculation, the overall excitement for Season 1 remains high, with players eagerly awaiting the new content and the continued evolution of Marvel Rivals.
