Alongside the four commander cards we've already seen—Tidus, Cloud, Y'shtola, and Terra—this new look showcases a range of powerful legendaries, including Sephiroth and Cecil. Today's reveal also highlights some unique features of the set, including the introduction of Summons, which are part of Magic's first-ever Saga creatures. These can be called upon for aid during battle, as demonstrated by Summon: Shiva in the gallery. Furthermore, the set brings back double-faced cards, with Cecil showcasing his dual nature as both a Dark Knight and a Redeemed Paladin.

The Final Fantasy set will boast over 100 legendary creature cards, including 55 legendary borderless cards, many of which are illustrated by fan-favorite artists from the Final Fantasy series. This set is not only fully draftable but also Standard-legal, and will launch alongside four preconstructed Commander decks, each themed around a different Final Fantasy game: 6, 7, 10, and 14. Each deck contains 100 cards, blending new Final Fantasy cards with existing cards featuring fresh Final Fantasy artwork. Mark your calendars—the set is set to launch on June 13.
