LEGO is expanding its collection of themed book nook displays with exciting new releases. The latest addition is the Lord of the Rings book nook set, now available for preorder through Amazon or LEGO's official store. This joins previously announced Sherlock Holmes Baker Street and Harry Potter Hogwarts Express/Platform 9¾ book nook sets, with all three scheduled for release on June 1, 2025.

The 1,201-piece LEGO set recreates Gandalf's epic confrontation with the Balrog on the Bridge of Khazad-dûm from The Fellowship of the Ring, complete with the iconic "you shall not pass!" inscription. Designed primarily as a bookshelf display, this set can also transform into a full diorama perfect for tabletops. The set includes a highly detailed Gandalf minifigure wielding his sword and staff, plus a massive posable Balrog complete with wings and its signature flame whip. This atmospheric set makes an impressive gift for any Lord of the Rings enthusiast.
The Sherlock Holmes and Harry Potter book nooks offer similar attention to detail with franchise-specific Easter eggs. The Baker Street set faithfully recreates Sherlock's residence with minifigures including Holmes, Watson, and Moriarty. Like its Middle-earth counterpart, this transforms from a book nook into a street-view diorama featuring the classic Sherlock Holmes book logo.
The Hogwarts Express set presents Harry and Ron minifigures alongside a split display showing both King's Cross Station and Platform 9¾. While functional as a book nook, the divided train display works particularly well as a standalone model.

Understanding Amazon's Preorder Price Protection
First-time Amazon preorder customers should note their price guarantee policy. According to Amazon's official guidelines, preorders automatically qualify for the lowest price offered between order placement and shipment date.
This protection makes Amazon one of the most reliable platforms for purchasing upcoming LEGO sets early. While most popular sets rarely receive discounts before launch, the price guarantee provides valuable reassurance for early adopters.
