While its recent celebration method raised eyebrows (NFTs in 2025 is certainly a choice), Legend of Ymir undoubtedly made a huge splash in the Korean market. Now, developer and publisher Wemade has opened pre-registration for the upcoming MMORPG as it prepares for its Western release.
Legend of Ymir offers a fresh take on the Norse-inspired MMORPG genre. Despite some occasional anime-style elements, it presents a surprisingly faithful interpretation of the mythology. Admittedly, there's a hint of the TV series Vikings in its aesthetic, but with a 3D open world and numerous combat and navigation abilities, this is definitely one to watch.
With pre-registration now live, there are naturally plenty of incentives to sign up. This time, Legend of Ymir is offering exclusive reward items: the Einherjar’s Badge and Muninn’s Sphere.

There are also six simple pre-registration missions available that reward you with a currency called Wemix, which can be exchanged in-game. Reportedly central to progression in Legend of Ymir, it's worth securing some early.
If you're already planning to play Legend of Ymir, note that a new sign-up event will run for seven weeks. You can earn a limited-time pre-registration coin by checking in once per week. After launch, these coins can be exchanged for exclusive rewards like Einherjar's Helm and other in-game accessories.
