These projects follow the successful December 2024 release of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered, and promise to deepen the engagement with the dark, gothic world of Nosgoth.

Lost in Cult and Cook and Becker Unveil Legacy of Kain Encyclopedia

Crystal Dynamics, in collaboration with Lost In Cult and Dutch art dealership Cook and Becker, are bringing to life The Book of Nosgoth, an official encyclopedia dedicated to the gothic realm of Nosgoth. This comprehensive guide, penned by Nic Reuben of Rock Paper Shotgun, will delve into the series' rich tapestry of locations, factions, and characters, including a detailed timeline of the epic saga between Kain and Raziel.

Beyond its lore, The Book of Nosgoth will offer fans an exclusive look behind the scenes of the Legacy of Kain games' development. Expect to see original concept art, sketches, maps, and interviews with the developers, providing an in-depth exploration of all five titles in the series.

Legacy of Kain TTRPG Set to Launch

Alongside the encyclopedia, Crystal Dynamics and Lost in Cult are also launching Legacy of Kain: Scourge of Sarafan, a tabletop role-playing game set during the Sarafan Order's crusade against vampires. This game, utilizing the acclaimed MÖRK BORG ruleset, promises a mechanics-light yet intense experience where players take on the roles of Sarafan warrior priests.

Legacy of Kain: Scourge of Sarafan will offer six playable classes, unique weapons and spells, and an official bestiary of nocturnal horrors.
