After Four Years of Launch, Alchemy Stars Shutting Down and Getting an Offline Version

Alchemy Stars is shutting down its online service on January 24th, 2025, but will transition to an offline version. This means players can still replay the story and access their saved progress.

Shutdown Date and Offline Transition:

The game's live service ends January 24th, 2025. A crucial maintenance update (version 1.43.0) will occur on January 10th, 2025, from 4:00 to 9:00 GMT, introducing a local data save feature.

Saving Your Progress:

After the January 10th update, a data save button will appear on the main menu. Players must save their data before January 24th at 4:00 GMT; unsaved progress will be lost permanently. Multiple saves are allowed before the deadline.

Offline Version Limitations:

The offline version will be a final release with no further updates. Deleting the app will make it irretrievable; reinstalling will not be possible. The offline version allows access to saved data, story replay, and unit upgrades.

Conclusion:

While not ideal, the offline version offers a way to preserve player progress. Download Alchemy Stars from the Google Play Store before the online service ends. Stay tuned for our upcoming coverage of Play Together's 2025 update!
