James Bond Casting Rumor Swirls After Supposed Audition Leaks

Leaked 2005 James Bond audition tapes surface online, showcasing Henry Cavill's impressive performance. The footage, appearing on the Ron South YouTube channel, also includes auditions from Sam Worthington, Rupert Friend, and Anthony Starr.

Games Radar reports that Cavill's audition has garnered significant attention, with many, including Casino Royale director Martin Campbell, praising his "tremendous" performance. Campbell reportedly favored Cavill for the role, but ultimately, other producers selected Daniel Craig.

Cavill later fulfilled his spy ambitions in the film Argylle, starring alongside a renowned cast including Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, and Catherine O’Hara. Despite the star-studded ensemble, the film received mixed reviews, scoring a mere 4/10 on IGN.

Cavill's career continues to flourish, with notable roles as Superman in the DC universe, Geralt of Rivia in Netflix's The Witcher, and numerous other projects.
