Honkai: Star Rail is set to launch its highly anticipated Version 3.2 update, titled 'Through the Petals in the Land of Repose,' on April 9th. This update promises an influx of new lore, thrilling battles, and the introduction of fresh characters. Additionally, HoYoVerse is preparing to celebrate the game's two-year anniversary with a host of special events and giveaways.
What’s in Store in Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.2?
The update introduces two new 5-star characters: Castorice (Remembrance) and Anaxa (Erudition). Castorice, a Chrysos Heir with the Touch of Death, is on a quest to find the lost Coreflame of Death, armed with the Netherwing. Her tragic backstory and powerful abilities add depth to the narrative. On the other hand, Anaxa, a scholarly figure among the Seven Sages of the Grove of Epiphany, brings a unique perspective shaped by dark experiences. His Ultimate, Sublimation, applies seven Weaknesses to all enemies simultaneously, making him a formidable force on the battlefield.
Returning characters will also grace the banners. In the first half of Version 3.2, players can expect reruns of Fugue, Jiaoqiu, and Acheron. Dr. Ratio will make a comeback in the second half, giving those who missed him previously another chance to add him to their roster.
HoYoVerse has teased upcoming balance changes in Version 3.4 for Silver Wolf, Blade, Kafka, and Jingliu. While details are sparse, these adjustments are eagerly awaited. To get a taste of what Version 3.2 has to offer, check out the trailer below.
The Story This Time Is Heading to Styxia
The narrative takes the Trailblazers to Styxia, a forgotten city submerged under the Sea of Souls. This haunting locale, filled with dragon bones and restless spirits, sets the stage for uncovering the secrets of the Titans and the catastrophic event that led to its downfall. Players will accompany Castorice on this eerie journey.
In celebration of the game's two-year anniversary, HoYoVerse is offering 20 free pulls for simply logging in. On April 26th, the anniversary day, players will receive 1,600 Stellar Jades and a special in-game card from a companion. Additionally, players can choose a free 5-star character between Ruan Mei or Luocha.
