Honkai: Nexus Anima to Link Two Honkai Worlds

HoYoverse has finally unveiled a teaser for the next chapter in the Honkai universe, introducing what appears to be Honkai: Nexus Anima, the latest addition to the beloved series. Fans and gamers alike are buzzing with excitement, analyzing the brief glimpse of gameplay to predict what this new title might offer.

What Do We Know?

During the second anniversary concert of Honkai: Star Rail, HoYoverse treated fans to a live stream of the new teaser. At the concert's conclusion, the teaser was showcased, featuring Kiana from Honkai Impact 3rd, greeting the audience in Chinese. She was seen standing at the entrance of a building, accompanied by her adorable pet, capturing everyone's attention.

The teaser then transitioned to Blade, a character from Honkai: Star Rail, suggesting a possible crossover between the two worlds in Honkai: Nexus Anima. While the trailer was brief and didn't reveal much, you can watch it yourself to get a feel for what's coming. Here's the link to the teaser.

Interestingly, no official title was announced during the stream. The teaser simply concluded with the message, 'A brand new Honkai game, stay tuned.' However, the name currently circulating among fans is Honkai: Nexus Anima. This name first surfaced earlier in the year through job listings and has since appeared in trademark filings and domain registrations, lending credibility to the speculation that this could indeed be the game's final title.

Is It Going to be a Pokémon-Like?

If the teaser gave you Pokémon vibes, you're not alone. The video hints at a mix of Pokémon and Honkai elements, especially with the inclusion of pet companions and trainer-style battles. A notable scene featured a confrontation between Kiana and Blade, suggesting that Honkai: Nexus Anima might lean more towards combat and companion-based gameplay compared to its predecessors.

As of now, the release date and the official name remain unconfirmed. However, the teaser has certainly piqued interest and set the stage for what could be an exciting new entry in the Honkai series.
