Honkai Impact 3rd's v8.0 update, In Search of the Sun, launches January 9th, introducing Durandal's new battlesuit, Reign Solaris, and a host of new content.
Reign Solaris: A Dual-Form Battlesuit
Durandal's latest battlesuit, Reign Solaris, is an IMG-type Physical DMG dealer boasting two distinct forms: Rampager and Skyrider. Rampager mode unleashes a flurry of javelin attacks, while Skyrider mode sees Durandal utilizing a hoverboard for lightning-fast combos. Her ultimate involves a sky-high launch, followed by a devastating javelin attack.
New Gear and Stigma Set
The update introduces the Valorous Effulgence weapon (and its PRI-ARM upgrade, New Voyage), designed to enhance Reign Solaris's QTEs and javelin attacks. A new stigma set, Illuminating the Universe, showcases Durandal's parallel universe adventures, featuring themes like soccer, bands, and skateboarding.

Main Story Update and New Events
Chapter VII, Part 2: Bouquets of Unfulfilled Wishes, continues the Ten Shus War storyline on Mars, delving deeper into Coralie's fate and introducing a character linked to the mysterious eye in Helia's mind.
A new cube puzzle game, featuring Vita and young Durandal as Cube-ianka, offers rewards including 60 million Crystals and Source Prisms.
The Countdown: To Sweet Dreams event features comedic encounters with familiar characters like Mei, Theresa, Fu Hua, and the Herrscher of Sentience, along with Griseo, Carole, and Vita. This event includes a boss fight involving dodging drumsticks, commanding followers, and even monster training. Rewards include Emblems, Crystals, Source Prisms, and Senadina's new outfit, Steering Inequations.
