Rockstar Games has thrilled fans once again with the release of the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6, sparking curiosity about the song featured in this latest glimpse into the world of Vice City. The trailer, lasting two-and-a-half minutes, showcases the vibrant action and romance of the game, underscored by a carefully selected soundtrack that continues Rockstar's tradition of integrating iconic music into their games. In the new GTA 6 trailer, viewers are treated to the sounds of Hot Together by The Pointer Sisters, an '80s classic that perfectly complements the atmosphere of this eagerly anticipated open-world sandbox.

The song PlayHot Together is the title track from The Pointer Sisters' 1986 pop R&B album, clocking in at four minutes and 13 seconds. This steamy dance track, emblematic of the '80s era, seamlessly fits into the revitalized setting of Vice City. Although it doesn't currently rank among the top 10 most popular songs by The Pointer Sisters on Spotify, its inclusion in the trailer is likely to boost its popularity as excitement for GTA 6 continues to build.

The first trailer for GTA 6, which debuted in December 2023, introduced fans to the game's new world with the backdrop of Tom Petty's Love Is a Long Road. This trailer not only increased the song's popularity but also fueled fan theories about potential story and character developments in GTA 6. Similarly, the use of Hot Together in the second trailer will undoubtedly prompt fans to delve deeper into the song's lyrics and its relevance to the game's narrative as they eagerly await the game's release.
