What is Gold Rush?
Gold Bars remain a crucial currency in Fortnite, allowing players to purchase various items. This season introduces a twist: acquiring gold unlocks Gold Rush, a significant temporary boost. Gold Rush enhances movement speed, pickaxe swing speed, and pickaxe damage against structures, giving players a competitive edge.
How to Activate Gold Rush
Unlike other abilities with singular activation methods, Gold Rush offers two paths to activation:

Gold-Infused Water: Immerse yourself in gold-infused water found at various locations across the map. A quick dip grants you the Gold Rush buff.

Gold Veins: Mine Gold Veins, the source of Gold Bars, scattered throughout the island. Mining these veins also activates Gold Rush. Shiny Shafts, Fletcher Kane's primary gold source, is an excellent location to find these veins. However, be warned – Kane's heavily guarded operation makes this a risky endeavor.
