Gold Armor is a game-changer in Call of Duty Zombies, offering self-repairing capabilities that significantly improve survivability. This guide details how to obtain this powerful upgrade in Black Ops 6 on The Tomb map.

The Benefits of Gold Armor

First introduced in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies, Gold Armor automatically repairs itself over time, mitigating the constant need for armor plates. This is particularly useful against powerful enemies like Amalgams, ensuring you maintain sufficient protection. Even without plates, your armor regenerates.

Acquiring the Gold Armor Vest: A Step-by-Step Guide

1. Locate Statue Heads: Find two statue heads within the Dark Aether Nexus. These are hidden inside destructible wooden boxes. One box is near a palm tree in a corner of the Nexus (see image below), and the other is close to the Juggernog Perk Machine.

   

2. Repair Roman Statues: Take the statue heads to the Dig Site area. Place them on the two ruined Roman statues. One is near the Ammo Cache, and the other is closer to the Roman Mausoleum.

3. Complete Blood Sacrifices: Interacting with the repaired statues initiates a "Blood Sacrifice" challenge. This involves surviving waves of high-value target (HVT) enemies: Shock Mimics and Doppelghasts. The challenge significantly reduces your health to 1 HP, making armor crucial. Multiple HVTs spawn, scaling with player count. Strategies for survival include using Mutant Injection (solo) or a Chopper Gunner (co-op).

   

4. Purchase the Vest: After completing both Blood Sacrifices, the Gold Armor Vest becomes available for purchase at the Roman Mausoleum's Wall Buy.
