Goat Simulator's Caprine Card Crusade

Prepare for some goat-fueled chaos! Goat Simulator, the wildly popular video game, is branching out into the card game arena. A collaboration between Coffee Stain North and MOOD Publishing (creators of successful board game adaptations like Deep Rock Galactic and Valheim) will bring this unexpected card game to life later this year.

While details are scarce, we know Goat Simulator: The Card Game will support 2-6 players engaged in a hilariously frantic battle of goat-powered mayhem. Expect the same absurd humor that defines the franchise, now neatly packaged in a card game format.

The game will launch on Kickstarter later in the year. Creative Director Santiago Ferrero at Coffee Stain North perfectly sums up the concept: “Chaotic animal-based video games are so last year. That’s why we’ve partnered with MOOD Publishing to release a chaotic animal-based card game instead! You’ve seen goats on your screen; now it’s time to bring them to your table.”

From humble April Fool's joke in 2014 to a multi-platform phenomenon spanning PCs, consoles, and mobile devices, the Goat Simulator franchise continues to defy expectations. With Goat Simulator 3 already expanding the series' legacy, the addition of a card game is a truly surprising, yet fitting, next step. Until the card game's release, you can find the original Goat Simulator games on the Google Play Store.
