When compared to previous-generation GPUs, the RTX 5070 performs similarly to the RTX 4070 Super. While we hoped for a more significant leap in raw performance, the RTX 4070 Super was already an outstanding card for 1080p and 1440p gaming, launching at $599.99—just $10 less than this Gigabyte 5070 model. Unfortunately, finding an RTX 4070 Super GPU at this price has become nearly impossible. The RTX 5070 performs better than the RTX 4070 Super in games supporting DLSS 4 and multi-frame generation, making it a more future-proof option that will continue improving with driver updates.
