As the Natlan Archon Quest in Genshin Impact nears its conclusion, players are uncovering the game's rich lore and facing increasingly complex combat challenges. Each region in Genshin Impact features two weekly bosses, and the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire stands out as one of the most formidable adversaries. This massive dual-sworded Dragon, a symbol of the ancient ruler of Natlan, embodies the malevolence of the Abyss, similar to the Riftwolves of Inazuma with its Corrosion effect. Defeating this boss is no small feat, but with the right strategy, it's certainly achievable. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to conquer the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire in Genshin Impact.

Where To Find The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact

The Lord of Eroded Primal Fire awaits at the Stone Stele Records domain, located just south of the Statue of Seven near the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe. This domain is housed within a shrine commemorating the fallen from the Natlan battle. Upon entering, players can claim the usual rewards using 30 Original Resin for the first three weekly boss encounters.

To unlock this boss and freely access the domain, players must complete the final chapter of the Archon Quest: When All Becomes A Monument. Alternatively, for those who wish to bypass the story, the Quick Challenge option in the Adventurer’s Handbook provides direct access.

How To Beat The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact

Conquering the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire largely depends on utilizing regional characters from Natlan, such as Mavuika, Kinich, Citlali, Mualani, and others. The boss, though stationary for most of the fight, will summon three Pillars and three Tenebrous Mimiflora, which can be more easily dispatched with characters equipped with Nightsoul Blessings.

Make Sure To Destroy The Three Pillars With Nightsoul Blessing

While it's possible to use other characters to destroy the summoned Pillars, doing so without Natlan characters significantly extends the time required. Utilizing characters like Mavuika, Citlali, Kinich, or Kachina can drastically reduce the time needed to break the shields, preventing the Dragon from unleashing its Eroded Meteor strike. Breaking the pillars will temporarily immobilize the Dragon for about 10 seconds, providing a critical window to inflict damage.

However, if the Pillars aren't destroyed quickly enough, the meteor animation will commence. In this scenario, it's essential to equip a shield and switch to a healer to mitigate the corrosion damage that can penetrate shields. Consistent healers like Furina and Kokomi are ideal, but Kuki, Barbara, and Bennett are also effective substitutes.

Try Your Best To Dodge Or Stay Underneath The Dragon

Dodging the Dragon's unpredictable attacks can be challenging, especially when it transforms into smoke and moves erratically around the arena. Its primary attacks include sword slashes and smashes that can drastically alter the battlefield, reducing the available space for maneuvering.

When the battlefield is compromised, staying close to the Dragon and attacking from underneath can be a viable strategy. However, caution is necessary due to the corrosion from its Eroded Dragon Breath attack. This attack involves the Dragon impaling its swords into the ground, dealing both Pyro and Erosion damage. Staying close to the Dragon's hands during this attack can provide a safe spot, as the Dragon Breath doesn't reach that area. Immediate healing is crucial to counteract the Erosion effect from any sword slashes.

A reliable healer is indispensable for this fight, ensuring survival against the Dragon's relentless assaults.

Co-Op Mode and Matching

Even without Natlan characters, players can attempt this fight in Co-Op Mode. Utilizing the 'Match' button when entering the Domain allows players to join others, making the Pillar phase more manageable with additional characters equipped with Nightsoul Blessings.

Fortunately, the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire does not have multiple phases, unlike some other Weekly Bosses, but it still requires a significant amount of time and coordination to overcome.
