Genshin Impact's highly anticipated update, Version 5.5 "Day of the Flame's Return," is set to launch on March 26th, promising to intensify the experience in Natlan with a slew of new features and content. This update isn't just about expanding the story; it's a game-changer in many ways.

One of the most exciting additions is the introduction of controller support for Android devices. This long-awaited feature will enhance the gameplay experience significantly. To find out more about the compatible controllers, you can follow this link.

What Does Genshin Impact Version 5.5 Have in Store?

In Version 5.5, players will venture deeper into the southwestern part of Natlan, where they'll encounter a new tribe, a colossal volcano, and fresh faces. The Great Volcano of Tollan is shrouded in ancient secrets and houses a sacred city that has slumbered for eons. As you navigate through this fiery landscape with magma simmering beneath, your mission is to unravel the enigma of the "Flamelord's Blessing" and the mystery surrounding the Little One.

You'll also meet the Collective of Plenty, a tribe that values fitness and strength, integrating physical challenges into their daily lives. Adding to the excitement, two new playable characters will join the roster: Varesa and Iansan. Varesa, a 5-star Electro Catalyst user, can restore Phlogiston post-food consumption, offering unique support outside of combat. Iansan, a 4-star Electro Polearm wielder and one of Natlan's six heroes, blends offense with support capabilities. When a teammate triggers a Nightsoul Burst, she gains the Warming Up effect, allowing her to provide continuous healing.

The first phase of Version 5.5's Event Wishes will feature Varesa and Iansan, along with Xianyun's rerun, followed by reruns for Xilonen and Venti. Check out the trailer below for a glimpse of what's to come.

The Bloomflower Trials Are Making a Comeback

In this update, you'll collaborate with Mavuika, Ifa, and other Natlan allies to aid a sick Saurian. Additionally, a fun mini-game called "Saurian Treasure Seeker" will challenge you to guide baby Saurians through obstacles to collect treasures. Participation in this event will reward you with the opportunity to invite Ororon for free.

For those looking for a challenge, a new boss, the Lava Dragon Statue, awaits in the volcanic fissures. You can download Genshin Impact from the Google Play Store and dive into this expansive update once it's released.
