Xbox Game Pass introduces Quests and enhanced Rewards for PC users aged 18 and over, starting January 7th. This update expands reward opportunities beyond Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, making them accessible to PC Game Pass subscribers as well.
Key changes include daily, weekly, and monthly quests offering points for playing games (minimum 15 minutes). The popular weekly streak returns, with point multipliers increasing based on consecutive weeks of participation (2x for two weeks, 3x for three, and 4x for four or more). New monthly challenges encourage exploring the Game Pass catalog by playing four or eight different games. A PC-specific weekly bonus awards 150 points for playing five or more days.
However, access to the revamped Rewards Hub and all associated benefits is restricted to players 18 and older. Microsoft emphasizes its commitment to age-appropriate gaming experiences, stating that users under 18 will only be able to earn rewards through parental purchases from the Microsoft Store.
