In Freedom Wars Remastered, customizing your loadout for operations is key to success. While major components like weapons and Thrones might not change frequently, Combat Items are essential consumables with varied applications, and they are often in limited supply.
You'll earn more Combat Items as rewards from operations, but the quantities might not always suffice for your next mission. Initially, you're limited to equipping just one Combat Item at a time. Here's how to overcome these limitations.
How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
To equip more Combat Items, you need to acquire specific Entitlements. Head to your cell and interact with the Window On Liberty, then select "Claim Entitlements". Navigate to the Equipment section, and scroll right to find the One-Item Permit at the top. Each subsequent permit below this allows you to equip additional Combat Items, up to a maximum of four.
These story-driven Entitlements become available quickly, and by reaching CODE level 3, you can purchase all four permits. Note that you'll only see the next permit after purchasing the previous one. When you equip a Combat Item, like a Frag Grenade, you'll equip the entire stack you have at the start of an Operation.
Additionally, your Accessory can carry one Combat Item, which can be used at its discretion.
Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
As you progress through the main story beyond the initial missions, you'll unlock The Warren HUB area. On the right side of The Warren, on the upper level, you'll find the Zakka store. While it offers weapons, you can also select the "Buy Items" option to access Munitions and Medical Supplies.
- Munitions include items that directly damage enemies during combat.
- Medical Supplies cover items that heal, cure ailments, or refill ammunition.
Combat Items are sold individually, and bulk purchases can be pricey in terms of Entitlement Points. If you need a lot of Medkits, consider donating old resources. While Operations may occasionally reward you with Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to the time involved and the potential for using more items than you gain.
