Epic Games has kicked off their revamped free games program, now shifting to a weekly schedule from the previous monthly offerings. This week, gamers can snag Super Meat Boy Forever and Eastern Exorcist for free on the Epic Games Store. You have until March 27th to claim these titles, but Epic is keeping their cards close to their chest regarding next week's freebies.
Super Meat Boy Forever revives the classic, nail-biting platforming action but introduces an auto-runner twist. Instead of manually controlling every move, you'll focus on perfectly timed jumps and attacks while navigating through a gauntlet of sawblades and death traps. Fans of the original Super Meat Boy will find the same demand for precision here, albeit in a fresh format. The game supports controllers, but its touch controls are robust enough for those who prefer to play without one.
On the flip side, Eastern Exorcist offers a more somber experience. This side-scrolling action RPG immerses you in a universe steeped in Chinese and Japanese folklore, where you take on the role of an exorcist battling demons and otherworldly beings. The game's hand-drawn art and unique character designs contribute to its hauntingly beautiful aesthetic, making the cut scenes a standout feature. You can download both Super Meat Boy Forever and Eastern Exorcist from the Epic Games Store on Android.
There Are Other New Games Too
In addition to the free games, Epic Games is also broadening its mobile gaming library. New additions to both Android and iOS include Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead, MR RACER: Premium, The Forest Quartet, and The WereCleaner. For Android users, there are exclusive titles such as Bowling Clash, Endling – Extinction is Forever, Chicken Police – Paint it RED, One Hand Clapping, Neighbours Back From Hell, This is The Police, This is The Police 2, This is The President, and Through the Darkest of Times.
Before you go, don't miss out on our coverage of Alcyone: The Last City, an upcoming sci-fi visual novel boasting multiple endings.
