How to Extract Items in R.E.P.O.

In the thrilling co-op horror game, R.E.P.O., your objective is clear: retrieve valuable items and survive the onslaught of randomly spawning monsters. Success means rewarding riches to spend on crucial survival gear, but failure brings the wrath of the menacing AI Taxman. Securing those valuable items requires strategic navigation and a successful trip to the Extraction Point, where your hard-earned loot is tallied, and you’re granted access to the Service Station to spend your well-deserved cash.

As you progress through R.E.P.O., the extraction process becomes second nature. What initially seems daunting quickly transforms into routine as you conquer more levels and overcome the monstrous threats.

How to Extract in R.E.P.O.

Your first R.E.P.O. run features a single Extraction Point. However, as you progress, this number increases, with a maximum of four currently. A handy red counter in the top right corner of your screen keeps track of the number of drop-offs required and those already completed.

Initially, the Extraction Point is conveniently located near your R.E.P.O. truck—a consistent starting point. After your first successful drop-off, things get more challenging. The Taxman's demands and the location of subsequent drop-off points remain unknown until you discover them.

This is where your in-game map becomes invaluable. Pressing "Tab" reveals unexplored areas, aiding route planning and facilitating coordinated efforts with teammates. This allows for efficient map coverage and a more strategic approach.

The location of the next Extraction Point becomes clear upon arrival, either visually or audibly. Once located, press the large red button to initiate the process. This reveals whether you've collected enough valuables. If successful, place your C.A.R.T. within the designated grey area to prevent item destruction. Repeat these steps for each Extraction Point. Note that after the final drop-off, you don't need to return the C.A.R.T. to the truck; a new one will spawn at the next location.
