Etheria: Restart took to Twitter (X) on April 21 to announce a global livestream ahead of its final beta test. Mark your calendars for April 25, 2025, at 21:00 (UTC-5), when the event will be broadcast live on Etheria: Restart's official YouTube and Twitch channels. Etheria: Restart is an eagerly awaited free-to-play hero RPG featuring live arena battles set in a futuristic sci-fi world. Humanity faces a catastrophic global freeze, prompting them to upload their minds to Etheria, where they coexist with entities known as the Animus. However, a new threat emerges in the form of the Genesis Virus, which corrupts the Animus and turns them hostile.
As a Hyperlinker in the Hyperlinker Union, players are tasked with combating this viral threat and uncovering its origins to protect both the virtual and the remaining real world. The game, built on Unreal Engine, boasts stunning graphics and cinematic scenes. Its gameplay involves strategic turn-based combat with real-time tactical control and offers a PvP arena for competitive real-time battles against other players. Additionally, Etheria: Restart includes a gacha system where players can acquire new characters using Hydra Crystals, obtainable either in-game or with real currency.
Final Beta Test Starts May 8, 2025
The final beta test is set to kick off on May 8, 2025, showcasing the Anisync Echoes and Phantom Theater trial challenges, as well as real-time PvP (RTA) battles inspired by fan-favorite games like Summoners War and Epic Seven. Cross-play will be enabled during the beta test, allowing players on mobile and PC to compete in real-time arenas, form the best squads for intense boss fights, and unlock new companions called "Shells."
