Emperor's Children Debut in Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge

If your favorite film series is Hellraiser and you enjoy a bit of ironic naming, you'll be thrilled to know that the latest faction added to Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge is the Emperor's Children! This faction introduces three new Warlords and a range of unique mechanics, promising a thrilling and intense gaming experience rooted in the lore of Slaanesh.

Originally a loyalist Space Marine legion, the Emperor's Children turned away from the Imperium during the Horus Heresy. Now, they pledge allegiance solely to the chaos god Slaanesh and their own desires, splintering into warbands that scour the galaxy in search of new stimulations and sensations. This faction embodies the cruel, egotistical, and arrogant essence of their patron god.

You can choose from three distinct Warlords. Lord Kaphrael, leader of the Callous Blades, specializes in taking down enemy champions. Xarahan epitomizes the arrogance and egotism of the Emperor's Children. And then there's Lucius the Eternal, the immortal swordsman whose millennia of experience make him a formidable opponent.

The Emperor's Children introduce some chilling new mechanics to the game. Units marked with Ecstasy gain an effect when their health drops to a certain threshold, while those with Cruelty receive benefits if they damage (but don't destroy) an enemy unit. Stimulation activates an ability when the unit is targeted by stratagems, and Combat Elixirs cause certain cards to generate additional stratagems that can trigger their abilities!

Starting now, you can get your hands on the Emperor's Children through new booster packs and DLC, allowing you to torment your foes with their unique abilities and units.
