Elon Musk Endorses: Path of Exile 2 Gets Major Update and Name Change Feature

The developers of Path of Exile 2 have released a notable update, version 0.1.1c, bringing several improvements and fixes to enhance the gameplay experience. Among the changes introduced in this patch, the team addressed a critical bug that previously prevented players from accessing the Cartwalker Machine after transferring characters from the solo league. Additionally, multiple issues within the local cooperative mode have been resolved, including bugs that allowed Player 2 to unlock Player 1’s UI items in high-level maps and another that hindered Player 2's ability to navigate control points swiftly.

This update also introduces up to five revival attempts in specific areas, such as the Distorted Possessions zone, the battle against Olroth, the Source of the Fall, and the Essence of Nonexistence realm, with the number of attempts varying based on the difficulty level. In the event of failing to defeat the Host in The Mists, players will now be revived in the boss battle arena and given a chance to restart the encounter.

Furthermore, the update includes a convenient feature allowing players to rename their characters directly via the website. Despite some initial challenges during the launch of Path of Exile 2, Grinding Gear Games remains highly ranked on Steam, and the development team continues to work diligently to address any concerns and refine the game further.
