Electronic Arts has unveiled the projected launch timeframe for the next Battlefield game. Their financial report indicates a release before April 2026.
Industry insider Tom Henderson, analyzing EA's past release schedules, predicts an October or November 2025 launch for the new Battlefield title. However, EA remains tight-lipped on precise release dates.
Development is underway at four of EA's internal studios, with extensive playtesting planned. A closed beta program has already been announced, allowing selected players to test core gameplay elements. Feedback from this beta will inform the game's final polish before launch.
This announcement also clarifies the future of Need for Speed. Vince Zampella previously indicated that a new NFS title isn't imminent, as the Battlefield project currently holds top priority.
