Dredge\'s mobile port delayed until next year but a closed beta test is planned for December

By JulianFeb 26,2025

Dredge's mobile release delayed until February 2025, but a new closed beta is now open!

Fans of Black Salt Games' Lovecraftian fishing horror, Dredge, will have to wait a bit longer for the mobile port. The release has been pushed back to February 2025. However, to soften the blow, Black Salt Games has opened sign-ups for a new closed beta test.

In Dredge, players assume the role of a fisherman in the unsettling town of Greater Marrow. Initially, the job is straightforward – catching and selling fish. But the waters soon become far more sinister, teeming with bizarre creatures, mysterious beings, and a pervasive sense of dread. The threat of madness looms, fueled by strange occurrences on a nearby island.

A Mobile Port's Challenges

Having played the PC version, the delay is understandable. Porting such a vast and detailed world to mobile is a significant undertaking. The additional closed beta is a smart move, allowing for valuable player feedback before the official launch. This ensures a smoother, more polished mobile experience.
