A Kindling Forest, a new action-adventure game from solo developer and high school teacher Dennis Berndtsson, offers a unique side-scrolling auto-runner experience. Prepare for a challenging journey filled with clever mechanics, treacherous forests, deadly arrows, and copious amounts of lava!

The Quest Begins:

An ancient demon has unleashed chaos upon the world, prompting forest spirits to awaken a long-dormant archer. Armed with a bow and arrow, he's tasked with vanquishing the demonic threat. However, this isn't your typical straightforward adventure.

Constant Motion and Strategic Shooting:

The screen continuously scrolls, presenting a relentless barrage of sharp, unpredictable obstacles. Players must skillfully dodge or shoot these hazards using their arrows, which are essentially magical projectiles provided by the forest spirits. Arrow depletion means game over, emphasizing the importance of precise and efficient shots.

Five Levels of Increasing Difficulty:

A Kindling Forest features five progressively challenging levels. Expect to navigate perilous landscapes, leaping over spiders, teleporting through ancient ruins, soaring over clouds, and even escaping fiery lava flows. Strategically placed checkpoints offer a lifeline, allowing players to restart and refine their tactics after setbacks.

Dual-Screen Controls and Precise Timing:

The game employs a split-screen control scheme, dedicating one half of the screen to jumping and the other to aiming and shooting. Mastering precise timing is crucial for survival. A helpful slow-motion effect during aiming provides a brief window for accurate shot placement.
