In Path of Exile 2, mastering the Currency Exchange is crucial for converting your lower-tier Currencies into higher-tier ones, which you can then trade with other players or use as crafting materials. However, keeping up with the ever-changing Currency Exchange rates can be quite the challenge due to their constant fluctuation in response to the in-game market dynamics. The only reliable way to stay updated on these rates is by checking them directly within the game.
How to Check Currency Exchange Rates in PoE 2
To access the Currency Exchange, speak with the gambling vendor available in any Act once you've reached Cruel Difficulty. Upon opening the Currency Exchange menu, you'll notice two distinct boxes designated for Currencies.
Begin by clicking on the left box to select the Currency you're interested in acquiring—or the Currency you wish to exchange your current holdings for. For instance, if you're looking to check the current price of a Divine Orb, you would click the left item tab and choose the Divine Orb from the list.
Next, click on the right item tab within the Currency Exchange menu to view a comprehensive list of your available Currencies, spanning both your Inventory and Stashes. Continuing with our example, if you want to see how many Exalted Orbs you need to obtain a Divine Orb, select Exalted Orb from your list of available Currencies in your Stash.
The conversion ratio between your chosen Currencies will be clearly displayed between the item selection boxes. So, if you're aiming to acquire a Divine Orb using Exalted Orbs, the number of Exalted Orbs required will be shown on the right-hand side of the ratio.
This process works in reverse as well. If you possess a Divine Orb and want to convert it into Exalted Orbs, simply select Exalted Orb from the "Want" list and choose your Divine Orb from the "Have" list.
Keep in mind that the Currency Exchange rates in Path of Exile 2 are in constant flux, so the conversion rate from one Currency to another can shift dramatically within a short period. It's wise to check back frequently during your gameplay to seize the best possible deals on high-value Currency items.
In cases where a specific Currency combination isn't available—such as exchanging Divine Orbs for Scrolls of Wisdom—no ratio will be displayed, and the exchange will not be possible.
