Conquer the King of the Monsters in Fortnite! Godzilla is stomping onto the Battle Royale Island, and you can either become him or take him down. This guide details how to participate in this epic event.
Becoming Godzilla:
Starting January 17, 2025, a rift will randomly appear on the map in each match. Be the first player to locate and enter this rift to transform into Godzilla!
As Godzilla, unleash devastating attacks: a Roar to pinpoint opponents, a Mighty Stomp to send them flying, and a powerful Heat Ray to inflict heavy damage. However, be warned: the entire lobby will be gunning for you!
Defeating Godzilla:
If you're not the lucky one to become Godzilla, prepare for an intense battle. Epic Games has strategically placed weak points on Godzilla. Focus your fire on these areas to make him drop Fragments, providing 40 health and three dash charges. Mobility is key, so utilize dashes effectively.
The Rail Gun has returned for this event, offering a high-damage output. Prioritize looting for high-rarity weapons to maximize your damage potential. The player who inflicts the most damage on Godzilla earns the Godzilla Medallion (with a dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher.
Even if you don't become Godzilla, defeating him offers impressive rewards and bragging rights. Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor!
