In the most recent financial report from Thunderful Group, which has already experienced multiple rounds of layoffs, a notable update on the cyberpunk platformer Replaced has come to light. The report indicates that gamers will have to wait until 2026 to experience the game, marking yet another delay for this highly anticipated title.

Originally, the developers at Sad Cat Studios had announced that Replaced would be released in 2025, describing the development process as a "unique challenge". However, the game has seen several postponements, initially slated for a 2022 launch, then rescheduled for 2023, and subsequently for last year. The studio remains dedicated to delivering a top-quality product, motivated by the significant attention and high expectations from the gaming community.

Replaced was first introduced to the public in 2021 during Microsoft’s presentation at the now-discontinued E3 event.

While Sad Cat Studios has not yet responded to the latest delay reported in the financial document, they continue to engage with their audience. Over the summer, they shared new combat footage and introduced a mini-game, keeping fans updated on the progress of this eagerly awaited title.
