They've just rolled out a significant update that introduces a challenging new mode for seasoned players and additional features to enhance an already robust game.
The new Legends Mode ramps up the difficulty, making encounters with aliens and flora more intense, while Flux Dabes becomes even more vulnerable. On the other hand, Explorer Mode offers a more relaxed gameplay experience, perfect for those who prefer to enjoy activities like fishing without the pressure of intense combat.
Responding to player feedback, Butterscotch Shenanigans has reintroduced the Compendium, a feature from the original Crashlands. This tool lists all the items you've discovered and tracks your progress towards uncovering every item in the game.
WardogsWith Update 1.1, your companion pets evolve from mere aesthetics to fully-fledged combat allies. Additionally, crafted armor now comes with random bonuses, reminiscent of the original game.
For those who felt the opening of Crashlands 2 was too slow, this update addresses that concern. New weapons, gadgets, and trinkets are introduced early on, allowing players to dive into the game's full experience sooner.
Further enhancements include adjustable nighttime darkness, expanded worldspace for building, and the addition of home teleporters, all of which significantly improve the gameplay experience.
