Crab Blast is a Match-3 puzzle game where every solved puzzle supports a cancer charity. Meaningfull Games, a Public Benefit Corporation based in Durham, North Carolina, developed the game. It’s their first mobile release and is completely free to play.

Match 3 with a Splash

Crab Blast unfolds in the Archipelago—a once-peaceful island now cluttered with grumpy crabs, driftwood, and melting popsicles. Team up with a lively crew of animals, from dolphins to sharks, to clean up the chaos and restore serenity to this tropical paradise.

Hundreds of vibrant levels offer beach-themed Match-3 challenges. Match seashells and other coastal treasures to clear the board. Power-ups appear as tropical allies like otters, octopuses, gulls, and orcas—combining them triggers surprising chain reactions.

The game features a ‘Stars’ system, allowing you to award donations to charities. These selections trigger monthly cash contributions from an Impact Fund. Ten percent of all Crab Blast revenue is donated directly to cancer charities.

Players choose which cancer organizations receive support. According to Jonathan O’Donnell, MD and founder of Meaningfull Games, the vision was to transform the time people already spend on mobile games into meaningful action.

Crab Blast also serves as a platform

The publishers are inviting cancer charities to partner directly and appear within the game. Meaningfull aims to build a more inclusive ecosystem, offering visibility and support to organizations of every size.
