The bundle encompasses not only the main storylines but also all the additional content released over the years. This includes the Left Behind DLC, which focuses on Ellie's backstory, as well as The Last of Us Part 2’s No Return and Lost Levels content. For fans of the HBO series featuring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, this digital bundle, priced at $99.99, offers a comprehensive dive into the original games that inspired the show.

In a PlayStation.Blog post, Naughty Dog Head of Studio Neil Druckmann announced a physical The Last of Us Complete Collector’s Edition, set to launch on July 10 for $109.99. Pre-orders are currently open, and this edition comes with exclusive extras such as a Steelbook case, game discs, The Last of Us: American Dreams comics 1 – 4, four lithographic art prints, and a personal thank-you letter from Druckmann himself.

Druckmann expressed gratitude in his post, saying, "From our entire studio, thank you so much for your incredible support for The Last of Us and Naughty Dog over the years. This is such an exciting moment for both the franchise and our teams. We are so humbled by your personal stories of what the series has meant to you, have marveled at your incredible Photo Mode shots, and inspired to keep pushing ourselves forward to create more stories and worlds you’ll love."

The Last of Us series originally debuted on the PS3 in 2013 and has since become a beloved part of the PlayStation library. Despite its popularity, the series has faced criticism for its numerous re-releases and remasters. The journey of Joel and Ellie was enhanced for the PS4 in 2014, remade for the PS5 in 2022, and continued with The Last of Us Part 2 in 2020, which received its own remaster in early 2024. Both games have also made their way to PC, with The Last of Us Part 1 arriving in 2023 and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered just last week.

The Last of Us Complete brings together all of Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic adventures into one cohesive package. While some may question the need for yet another re-release, its timing aligns perfectly with the premiere of HBO’s The Last of Us Season 2 this Sunday, with Season 3 being greenlit just yesterday.
