In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, the side quest "Hush, My Darling" begins in Miskowitz, a village in the Kuttenberg Region west of Kuttenberg City. This quest will test your blacksmithing skills as you help Martha and search for Victoria.
Speak with Martha
Head to the southeast part of Miskowitz to find Martha in the house connected to the forge. When you talk to her, inquire if she needs any assistance. She'll mention needing someone skilled in blacksmithing. Respond with, "I'm a blacksmith! I'd be glad to help," to initiate the "Hush, My Darling" quest.
If you haven't yet, you can also discuss Matthew with the bailiff, who is part of the Dry Devil's group and conveniently standing near Martha. Use this as a way to locate her if needed.
Craft Horseshoes
Screenshot by The EscapistYou may already have the necessary items for this quest. You'll need two Farmer's Horseshoes, which you might have crafted earlier for blacksmithing experience. If not, gather two pieces of Scrap Metal and head to the forge to make them. Once crafted, return to Martha with the horseshoes.
Find Victoria
Screenshot by The EscapistMartha will direct you to deliver the horseshoes to Victoria, who lives a bit south of the forge. Upon arriving at her house, you'll find it empty except for a concerning sign—blood on the floor. Inspect the blood closely when prompted during the quest. Report this discovery back to Martha, who suggests you look for Victoria at Sigismund's camp.

Sigismund's Camp
Screenshot by The EscapistThe camp is located south of Opatowitz. If you're also searching for Matthew from the Dry Devil quest, you might encounter him on the way. At the camp, find the blacksmith and inquire about Victoria. He'll mention a soldier named Black who took an interest in her. To find Black, head to the infirmary tent, where he's currently ill.
Screenshot by The EscapistBlack will only help after receiving a Digestive Potion to treat his food poisoning. If you don't have one, craft it and return to administer it. Wait a few hours for the potion to take effect before he'll share information. Black reveals that he said something to Victoria, suggesting she might have gone into the woods to the east. Follow the quest marker to find her sitting on a stump.
Victoria is distressed, so engage in conversation with her about the situation. Your dialogue choices won't impact future events, but if you had Black promise to look after her, you can share this with Victoria to give her hope for the future.
This conversation marks the completion of "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. You can then proceed with the main quests or explore other side quests like "In Vino Veritas."
