China has approved the release of the Genshin Impact, GTA and ZZZ hybrid

Project Mugen, now titled Ananta, is gearing up for a full release after generating significant buzz with its initial promotional materials. The game blends elements reminiscent of popular titles like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even GTA, all presented within a captivating anime aesthetic.

Ananta's release in China is confirmed for 2025 across PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms. A December 5th trailer showcased the game as an open-world, urban RPG where players assume the role of an A.C.D. agent in the sun-kissed coastal city of Nova, a location ripe with mystery and adventure.

This ambitious project is a collaborative effort between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain. Its global appeal stems from a combination of familiar environments infused with a compelling supernatural twist.

Key features highlighted for Ananta include four-player team-based combat, a striking art style, and fluid, high-speed movement.
