Renowned writer Greg Rucka and acclaimed artist Nicola Scott, who previously collaborated on the definitive modern take on Wonder Woman's origin in "Wonder Woman: Year One," are joining forces once again. This time, they're diving into a thrilling new adventure within the DC Universe titled "Cheetah and Cheshire Rob the Justice League."

This captivating six-issue series is set to be released as part of DC's ongoing All In initiative. Although the pairing of Cheetah and Cheshire may seem unconventional at first glance, it ties back to Rucka and Scott's earlier contributions to DC. Rucka prominently featured Cheetah in his two Wonder Woman runs, while Scott highlighted Cheshire in her original Secret Six series alongside writer Gail Simone.

Here's the official synopsis from DC:

*Cheetah and Cheshire Rob the Justice League showcases the titular characters meticulously planning and executing a bold heist—robbing the most secure facility in the DC Universe—and getting away with it! To accomplish the impossible, Cheetah and Cheshire need to recruit a top-tier crew capable of outsmarting the Justice League. Their mission is to acquire one of the most dangerous devices in the DCU, all while navigating the challenges of not betraying each other.*

*The only things standing between them and pulling off the most daring extraction in DC history are the sophisticated orbital platform, its AI-driven security system, and the smartest and most powerful heroes in the DCU.*

Rucka shared his insights, stating, “This is a crew of villains, or at least nominal bad guys. None of them have access to, nor would be welcomed aboard, the Justice League Watchtower. We’re not making this easy on them. But for Cheetah, this is an all-or-nothing play—she needs to do this job, and she’s not going to let anything or anyone stop her from achieving her goal.”

"Cheetah and Cheshire Rob the Justice League #1" is slated for release on August 6, 2025.
