With just over a week until Halloween, there's still plenty of time to dive into spooky seasonal events in major game releases. A prime example is the arrival of Halloween-themed content in the popular idle puzzle game Cats & Soup. Starting today, players can explore eerie new themes and mysterious happenings.
The Halloween update brings the Spooky Forest to life. As the first in a series of revamped themes, it introduces new NPCs to encounter, hidden Easter eggs to discover, and unique visual effects. You can also collect bats to trade for exclusive costumes at the Spooky Forest store.
Until Monday, November 3rd, Cats & Soup features a fresh look inspired by the Spooky Pumpkin House and Mystery Hotel concepts. This enhances the game's mysterious atmosphere, perfectly aligning with the Halloween spirit.
What's Cooking
Be sure to visit the Workshop on Wheels to check out its new offerings. These include four costume sets, 15 furniture items, and two new lamps, all drawing from the House and Hotel themes. Also, watch for the Mystery Hotel Login event running until November 6th, which rewards players with a Bellboy Uniform for their cats and Baby Kitty.
An adventure minigame is also in development. Meanwhile, completing Enchanting Fairy Tale Star Season 2 unlocks new rewards and items. Fantasy-themed items inspired by The Cat Piper will be available as well.
