Ten years of tranquil Sims life comes to an end as burglars return to the neighborhood in a new Sims 4 update! While not universally welcomed, this highly anticipated update brings back the thrill (and frustration) of home invasions.
The Sims 4 developers recently announced the update in their blog. As in past games, installing a security system is key to thwarting these unwelcome guests. A triggered alarm summons the police to apprehend the culprit. Skilled Sims can upgrade the system for improved reliability and automatic police alerts. Without an alarm, players can try calling the police directly, hoping for a timely response, or attempt to befriend the burglar.
For those with expansion packs, more creative solutions exist: unleashing dogs, spellcasters, vampires, or werewolves on the intruder, or even freezing them with a special ray.
