While a January 17th Fortnite release of a Godzilla skin has been rumored, recent leaks have revealed extensive details about the Monsterverse collaboration. Epic Games' latest update, slated for January 17th, has been datamined, revealing the full extent of the partnership. Beyond the Battle Pass's standard Godzilla, players can purchase a store bundle featuring Mechagodzilla and Kong skins. This bundle also includes unique jetpacks and pickaxes themed to each character.
A new boss event will launch concurrently on January 17th. One player will transform into a giant Godzilla, wielding atomic breath and other abilities. Players must collaborate to defeat this colossal foe. The player inflicting the most damage will receive a medallion with a unique ability.
The Mechagodzilla and Kong bundle will be available in the Fortnite store at the usual time and includes:
- Kong: 1500 V-bucks
- Mechagodzilla: 1800 V-bucks
- Two Pickaxes: 800 V-bucks each
- One Emote: 400 V-bucks
