2025's Biggest Game Releases: A Sneak Peek

Happy New Year! As another year begins, let's look ahead at the most anticipated video game releases of 2025.

January 2025

Dynasty Warriors: Origins
Kick off the year with Dynasty Warriors: Origins (January 17th) on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This latest installment in Tecmo Koei's acclaimed series promises a visually stunning and action-packed experience.

Prefer sniping? Sniper Elite: Resistance (January 30th) arrives on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, continuing the series' tradition of… well, let's just say it involves shooting Nazis in very specific places.

February 2025

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
February 11th brings a double dose of gaming goodness: Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 continues Henry of Skalitz's adventures in 14th-century Bohemia on current-gen consoles and PC. Also launching that day is Sid Meier's Civilization 7, available on a wide range of platforms (excluding mobile, for now).

Embrace the stealth arts with Assassin's Creed Shadows (February 14th), setting the series in feudal Japan with dual protagonists, available on current-gen and PC. Feeling lonely on Valentine's Day? Date Everything! (also February 14th) on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC offers a unique dating sim experience.

Monster Hunter Wilds
Obsidian's Avowed (February 18th) brings a first-person perspective to the Pillars of Eternity universe on Xbox Series X|S and PC. Then, prepare for high-seas adventure with Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii (February 21st) on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, starring Goro Majima.

Finally, February 28th sees the release of Monster Hunter Wilds on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC, aiming to refine the core experience and attract new players.

March 2025

Split Fiction
March 6th brings the co-op adventure Split Fiction from Hazelight Studios to PC and current-gen consoles. Experience a cozy life sim in Tales of the Shire (March 25th) on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC.

Prefer post-apocalyptic settings? Atomfall (March 27th) blends Fallout and Stalker influences on all platforms except Switch. Also on March 27th, The First Berserker: Khazan, a single-player action RPG from the Dungeon Fighter universe, arrives on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.

Atomfall
March 28th sees the PC launch of inZOI, a visually stunning life simulator with potential to disrupt the genre. Console versions are planned for later.

April 2025

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves
Finally, April 24th brings the return of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves to PlayStation, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, marking the first new entry in the series this century.

This is just a glimpse of what 2025 holds for gamers. Stay tuned for more updates!
