Azur Lane adds six new shipgirls in the new A Dance for Amahara Above event

  • Six fresh Sakura Empire shipgirls enter the battle
  • New "Turmoil in the Ninja Castle" storyline is now live
  • Twenty new skills make their debut

Following its 7th anniversary celebration last month, Azur Lane has launched a new limited-time event titled A Dance for Amahara Above, which runs until October 2nd. This update brings six new Sakura Empire shipgirls to the fleet, featuring two Ultra Rare variants, along with numerous new skins and rewards for Commanders to collect.

The A Dance for Amahara Above event introduces a fresh narrative arc, Turmoil in the Ninja Castle. Players can clear stages to earn PT (Progress Tokens). Milestone rewards include the Elite shipgirl Taekaze, while accumulated PT can be exchanged for valuable items like the new Super Rare shipgirl Asama. The main attraction is the debut of two Ultra Rare shipgirls: Hakuhou and I-404.

Hakuhou appears in the Limited Construction Pool, whereas I-404 can be obtained through special PT accumulation bonuses. They are joined by Oumi (Super Rare) and Minase (Elite), all four benefiting from increased construction rates during the event period.

Commanders below Level 80 will enjoy double EXP for both commanders and ships on sorties, making this an ideal opportunity to bolster your fleet strength. Additionally, a special login campaign offers bonus rewards simply for logging in daily. Furthermore, Shiratsuyu undergoes a retrofit that upgrades her rarity from Rare to Elite, enhancing her long-term viability.

ytThe event shop is also packed with fashion options, featuring over 20 new skins. Standout additions include eight Ninja Castle-themed designs, such as Hakuhou’s exclusive L2D+ skin "Floral Ninja Roleplay," L2D skins for Oumi and Asama, and dynamic outfits for I-404 and Morrison.

Sovetsky Soyuz debuts a striking dual-form skin titled Stringed Interrogation, available to rent alongside the new looks for Hakuhou and Oumi. Classic outfits from previous events return as well, complementing eight swimsuit and party dress skins now permanently added to the shop.
