Ubisoft's new Assassin's Creed Shadows trailer showcases enhanced PC features. The trailer highlights support for upscaling technologies like DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 2, ultra-wide monitor compatibility, ray tracing (RTGI and RT Reflections), and extensive settings for lower-end PCs, including a built-in benchmark tool.
Minimum PC specs for 1080p/30FPS gameplay include an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, and an NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8GB) or AMD RX 5700 (8GB) GPU. High-end requirements for 4K/60FPS with ultra settings and ray tracing demand an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, and an RTX 4090 (24GB) GPU.
Ubisoft partnered with Intel for optimization, promising strong performance on Intel processors. Post-launch AMD performance analysis is planned. Given past stuttering issues in the series, the community is keenly awaiting performance results, particularly after Mirage's improved performance compared to Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla.
Assassin's Creed Shadows launches March 20th on PC and consoles.
