Sony has unveiled an exciting lineup of games joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for May 2025, as detailed in a recent PlayStation.Blog post. Subscribers to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers are in for a treat with a diverse selection of nine new titles hitting the service on May 20, catering to a wide range of gaming preferences.

The spotlight shines on Sand Land, an action RPG that brings Akira Toriyama's manga to life on both PS4 and PS5. Other notable additions include Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition and the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy, the latter of which is getting an enhanced version announced for PS5 alongside PC and Xbox Series X | S, also set for release on May 20. GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original console trilogy will receive the Enhanced Edition at no extra cost, though it remains uncertain whether this offer extends to PlayStation Plus subscribers.

For PlayStation Plus Premium members, Battle Engine Aquila joins the catalog as a classic title available on PS4 and PS5. This sci-fi action game lets players take control of a versatile war vehicle capable of engaging enemies in aerial and ground combat.
