Moth Lake is a narrative-driven experience boasting over 20,000 words of dialogue and more than 300 unique scenarios. The story unfolds through a gripping mystery, exploring horror and the characters' emotional journeys. While featuring dark themes and upsetting moments, it also incorporates plenty of absurd humor and quirky conversations.

Players control characters in a 2.5D world, interacting with objects and NPCs to solve diverse puzzles. The game features advanced pixel art with a rich color palette and extensive frame-by-frame animations, including talking, walking, running, and more. Modern lighting and shading techniques, particle effects, and parallax create a surprisingly immersive 3D-like environment.

With six main characters and over 50 NPCs, each with unique appearances and personalities, you'll control seven characters throughout the main story, and even more in additional chapters. Their expressions and behaviors react dynamically to the story, influenced by your choices. These choices affect their moods, unlocking hidden scenes and influencing the plot.
