Quickfire Rules

The game begins with cards evenly dealt among four players. Each player bids either high (with a black card) or low (with a red card). Bids are revealed starting left of the dealer. If a black card is turned over first, the round is played 'high,' and the player who turned over the first black card ('granded') leads the first trick. If all bids are red, the game is played 'low,' and the player to the left of the dealer leads.

In a high bid round, the player to the right of the 'granded' player leads the first trick. In a low bid round, the player to the left of the dealer leads. Players must follow suit if possible; otherwise, they can play any card. The highest card in the led suit wins the trick, and the winner leads the next trick.

At the end of each round, points are awarded based on the number of tricks each partnership collects. In high bid rounds, the 'granded' team earns a point for each trick over 6. If they fail to reach 7 tricks, the opposing team earns points per trick over 6, depending on the 'set bonus' setting. In low bid rounds, teams earn a point for each trick under 7.
