Hades 2 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Launches September 25, 2025, with 120fps on Switch 2
In a major announcement during the Nintendo Direct September 2025, Supergiant Games confirmed that Hades 2 will be a timed console exclusive on Nintendo Switch 2, launching exclusively on September 25, 2025, as part of the Hades II – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.
The game will run at a blistering 120 frames per second in TV mode on Nintendo Switch 2, offering a smooth and immersive experience that takes full advantage of the new hardware. For players using the original Nintendo Switch, the game will run at 60fps, with a free upgrade path to Switch 2 included.
