Fireboy and Watergirl is a beloved two-player game among children, renowned for its engaging puzzles and cooperative gameplay. In each temple, Fireboy and Watergirl must navigate through fire and water. Fireboy can safely traverse lava pools but must avoid water, while Watergirl can move through water but must steer clear of lava. Both should watch out for spikes. The objective is to guide Fireboy to the red door and Watergirl to the blue door on each screen, collecting diamonds that match their colors along the way. Speed and teamwork are key to achieving higher scores and rankings.

To progress, players must activate lifts, push boxes, and flip switches. The game goes beyond simple running and jumping; it requires strategic teamwork.
